Work

Work is an important part of life, I think, as it normally takes up a huge part of our time. Not overruling but important enough that I think one should aim at finding their niche where they are good, can make a difference or just feel like they are handling it which gives a good feeling itself.

My background is quite various and mixed but I will not go into smalltime jobs or careerpaths that didn’t lead to anything. My path within the IT-sector started on the more technical side but this has changed to more administrative tasks and pure project management. Being able to understand how things are done, at least the basics, is however very important and should not be underrated. Either the title is Technical PM or PM I try to use both technical skills and administrative skills together with project management methodology to get the results. I have been in companies practicing a lot of different methods, but the common denominator of successful experiences has been goal-oriented management. Either way I try to adapt my customers preferences if they have any, or use own methods which are mainly PMI-focused. I am also PMP-certified.

I have experienced large projects with both development, implementation and deployment of new services for my customers which have been everything from small and medium companies to large international companies and government departments. Today I run my own company in Oslo and I am offering my services locally and globally.
